Default Do i have this right? 4l60E to th400....

TCI flexplate $219.98- http://www.lmperformance.com/4050/1.html

PTC LS1 - TH400 Super Street Torque Converter $500- http://www.weberracing.net/p332/PTC-LS1-TH400-Super-Street-Torque-Converters/product_info.html (I think this converter comes with the ls1 pilot extension)

BMR TH400 LS1 Conversion crossmember with TA mount (TCC010) $239.95- http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F-bodyChassis.htm

BMR Full Length Adjustable Torque Arm (TA001) $269.95- http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F-bodySuspension.htm

Driveshaft cut to length ~$250~ - (I have an old steel driveshaft I could have shortened at a local shop)

Total: ~$1500 OUCH! lol

************************************************** *****

IF this is right then it needs to be put in the sticky like this, because even with the sticky its still confusing, I HOPE this is right (maybee im still confused)......

Parts needed for th400 swap:

th400 converter with pilot extension
TCI flexplate spacer not used
Conversion Crossmember
Adjustable Torque ARM
Custom Driveshaft

OR

th400 converter
TCI flexplate using spacer
Conversion Crossmember
Adjustable Torque ARM
Custom Driveshaft

NICE! That is cheap!

The tranny im trying to get is $800

the rest of the stuff is going to be around $1500 unless i can find some deals on here

so ill have around $2300 in the whole swap... not to bad i guess.

Deffinetally let me know how it turns out! It will be a few months befor i save enough money to get all the parts....

TCI flexplate can be had for $200

That is a good converter for the price $500

Th400 crossmember with tq arm provision is $195 from Yank

Why do you need an adjustable torque arm?

correct price on drivshaft shortening $250

A good th400 that will last under power is at least $1000 so at that your still at about $2000 which is great IMO.

We offer a billet aluminum flexplate that is sfi approved and we also make an SR series 9.5" billet nonlock up converter for the th400 that is 495. The flexplate is 289 and we pay the freight. The converter would be custom built to your combo and will have the correct pilot for the ls engine.give me a call and support the sponsors on this board.
