Default 1000whp auto with Overdrive? Do they exist?

Im on the fence still on t-56 or an auto with my turbo setup. If i do an auto i want something that can be a FMVb and il run something like the B&M Quick silver shifter.

whos offering a 4l60e or 80e that are rated up and over 1000whp? Are any of you running these in the 850-1100whp range and are they holding up?

The 80e is your only choice. What is weight? With a few billet upgrades you can build an 80e. F-Body I presume?

The 80E would be the best choice and is built regularly to handle that kind of power.

This will be in a mustang. the car weighed 3400 with me in it with a 4v mustang motor.

Should be within that range with a iron block now with tubular k member and few other wieght savings.

I want to have a FMVB in the car since its street duty. Im just not sure a t-56 will be the way to go at 850whp plus with turbos.

Any idea of what a 4l80e built to hold the 1k power levels are running

Built 80e from a sponser your talking at least 3-4k plus freight, plus converter, plus anytning else you need to convert.

Your talking 5k at least to have one and have it last.

Wish one of the sponsers would make a full convert package with everything you need for a good price, they would probably sell lots.

Can you down shift a fmvb like you would a manual? and how is the shifting when you upshift is it instant or will it have an annoying delay?
