Default A4 Shift Problem

Has anyone experienced a situation where the car hit's rev limiter when the tranny isn't fully warmed up on the 1-2 shift, but ok otherwise?

Is this normal on a car with a stall?

Thanks

Is your car tuned? I very rarely can do a 1/2 shift at WOT bc I can't get even DRs to hook in first.

If your tires are spinning it will hit the limiter. If you are hooking then you should try lowering the shift point a tad.

Im trying to figure a similar problem out also, I have a stock tranny with a 3000 stall, new fluid, tuned, and solid tranny mount since stock one was ripped. From a low roll, any thing above 5 mph, 1st to 2nd will hit like a charm, but from a dig it will pop the limiter a good 2-3 times before shifting, even at the track with a 1.79 60ft, with NO spinning it still did it. I got my rev limiter bump to 6300 from the tune, but still does it, my bud told me to get it bumped up more. Does anyone have any ideas?? Bc its only does this from a no spin dig, not from a roll, so i dont think i need a rebuild, anything i can check or replace? Thanks. And sorry for the thread jack.
