Default A few question about torque management

How does torque management work, I've been pretty hard on my trans and it still seems to be holding up. A few people have told me to tune it out, the car is quick right now so I'm weary about putting my trans at risk for a minimal gain. An would taking it off effect my et or trap speed more?

It definitely firmed the shifts up, basically TM works by pulling timing before/after the shift to reduce power while the trans is shifting.

It pulling timing between shifts is a good thing for me since I'm untuned spraying a 100 shot right?
