converter advice please

converter advice please gotta 01 t/a full exhaust lid and filter, daily driver need advice on a good all around stall converter, something that will increase power at the track and not ruin it for street use
I would suggest our 2C Stage I Billet converter. Rated at 3200-3400 and will give you exactly what you are looking for. A great blend of performance and street manors. You will love it!

I have a 3200 circle D and wouldn't mind a little more stall. Anything between 3200-3600 for a DD is good. A lot of people do 4000 in their DD's with no complaints, but that's a little much in my opinion.
Edit: He beat me to it lol. I'd definitely recommend Circle D to anyone. Great product and great customer service.

A 3200-3400 is a conservative stall, but still gives good performance. I think it is just what the OP needs/wants. We can definitely step it up a notch to a 3600, but that might be a bit more than he is looking for. I do offer the included re-stall so if he wants more it is no problem.

Re-stall:
Basically you decide you want a little higher or lower stall and you send the converter back to us. We cut it open and recalibrate it for you. Typically a $150-$300 charge depending on a few variables. It gives you a little added benefit for getting a Circle D converter.

For the street, I have been in a car with a Yank SS3600, I liked the streetability of it and it seems like a tight converter and punches pretty hard when it flashes. I cant say much for Circle-D since I have never been in a car with a CD converter but from what I have heard they are great stalls! Between 3200 to 3600 will probably be your better choice.
Not to step on anyones toes but!!!! I would recomend the SRLS series billet 9.5" billet 3600. A 3600 will have very nice street manners and will drastically reduce your et. We build smaller stall but with the cylinder heads of your motor and the entire characteristics of an LS based engine I seldom recomend anything less than 3600. Plus they are on sale this week. All of our SRLS series converters come with a 3 year warranty and 1 free restall.
