Yank PY3400 Extreme 4L80E LS1 Converter on its way
I want to give a big thanks out to Dave at Yank for getting my converter back to me so quick and for answering all the questions i had.Went from a 3 disc vigilante converter, then back in august had Dave spec me a YANK SC 3000 4L80E LS1 as i wanted a very street friendly stall for my ride.Decided a month a few weeks ago wanted to go more race oriented so i got a bigger cam and called Dave and told him my plans of stepping up the converter.
So last week i sent my converter to him to have it changed over and we came up with the popular py3400 that quite a few people are running on here.He recieved the converter yesterday monday and by the end of yesterday he had the converter changed over and shipped same day.So once again big thanks To Dave and the rest of the crew over at Yank.Great customer service.
Should have some 1/4 mile numbers in early spring once new cam , converter and trans brake are installed and car retuned.Cant wait!!!!

I haven't got chance to put the boots to my py3400 yet. Unfortunately got the car running with it bit too late.
Car will be put away in a few days. But hoping to test it out next season for sure. Just puttering around town it seems to be a bit loose but certainly driveable. I maybe thought it would be a bit tighter. .Have 2800 vig in my 96z and its very tight basically unnoticeable in around town driving. That car has 3.42 gears and 4l60. My 99 has 3.54 gears and the 4l80 does have only 2.48 first gear plus of course higher stall by quite a bit. Again already getting used to it and pretty hyper to see how it works at track.
