Not an expert, just curious...

racecar = stip only?

If strip only, then why use a 4l80e?

I asked this question a few years ago... it's probably in the archives.

For what it's worth,, I was advised not to take it past 6k in stock form. However, I am sure you'll be doing a rebuild/upgrade, and including an HD billet flexplate and a scatter shield. I think those are steel planetary gears, not aluminum, so watch out!
