Can you use the same yoke from a 4l60e on a th400?

No. The 4L60E uses the same yoke as a TH350 and is not interchangable with the TH400. You will need a new yoke to run the TH400.

can anyone point me in the direction of which slip yoke i would need? I've found several different types...

You need to know what your output shaft looks like.

There is also a difference between car (slip yoke) and truck (fixed yoke) TH400s. The truck one will have a threaded hole in the end of the output shaft.
