I have a vigilante stall converter for a 4l60e in a 98 trans am. I dont have any torque converter bolts, stock or ones that came with the stall. Does anybody know what thread/size/length of torque converter bolts I need? Precision Industries is closed till the 4th and I was wanting to get the stall in by tomorrow night. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

You need a metric bolt 10mm X 1.5 pitch. Try to find a 9.8 or better grade, 10.8 is suggested. 12mm in length is good, 16 if you need some shims. Just make sure it is not to long and bottom out before it tightens.

Circle D is right, also I ended up running 20mm lengths with just a tad cut off with a dremel so I knew the were fully engaged into the converter feet. I found that my converter to flexplate measurement was .28. Seems most agree that .18 is the max they feel comfortable with. So I put a shim of .12 on it to drop it to .16. You should measure this when you are installing your vig. These converter bolts can be found at the auto parts stores, bc thats where I found mine. Good luck
