TH350 cooler lines, dipstick, oil, questions.
In the process of swapping my LT1 m6 to a TH350 but had a few questions.
1. When I hook up the cooler lines to the TH350 does it matter what I use as the inlet or outlet?
2. Which dipstick do you guys recommend me using?
3. What oil to use?

Best dipstick is the lockar. They are little expensive, but they def worth it. As far as oil the dextron mecon III. Cooler all depends on if your going to run it thru the rad or not, if so then I believe the bottom line is pressure and top is return. But have some others verify.

1. No, it doesn't matter which lines are the inlet and outlet.
2. Use stock if possible, Lokar is nice but pricey.
3. Latest version of Dexron, either II or III.

1. I would recommend the madman dipstick. Nice piece for sure. I also have a lockar sucks to fill caused by i think the soft line.
2. I dont think it matters on the lines.
3. I just run dexron 3

if you put a fresh th-350 in and dont use an after market tranny fluid, use type-f (whats that, a ford fluid) yes type-f. it has better heat propertys than dexron. ive been doing it for years, and if you talk to b&m they will reccomend it also. (they also print it in there shift kit instructions).
