ok i have an a4 4l60e and its been acting up. so i was on my way to sf and i put my car on cruise and the rpms started to jump up but i paid no attention to it cuz i thought it was cuz i was going up hill. but onow the rpms jump up whenever they want to. ok so i know that going at about 65 mph the rpms stay just a little bit below 2000 but now whenever it wants, going at about 65 mph the rpms jump up over 2000. so i know somethings wrong but the thing is that it only does it sometimes. i think that it not catching to 4th gear or is it something else. i checked the fluid and its all good what do you guys think.

 

do u have a stall?? i know my car does that sumtimes bcuz the stall locks up and releases at hyway speeds

 

no i dont have a stall. should i be to worried. it will stop doing that after i come to complete stop.

 

that is the tranny starting to slip.

 

man this sucks ive only had the car for a year. oh well now i have an excuses to either lvl 2 performa built or convert to a M6 what do you guys suggest?
