Default Aftermarket VSS for TH350

idk if anyone knows this or not and i did a quick search and didnt see anything or not but Dakota Digital has a VSS adapter for the TH350 so your speedo will work and you can keep ABS the part number is SEN-01-4160

You need to get the tooth count off the drive/driven gears for the speedo in the tailhousing of the TH350. The 8000 pulse/mile as advertised assumes you have the correct drive/driven gears for the tire size, gear ratio in your car.

Even if the drive/driven combo is not correct, You can program the PCM to see everything correctly, and output an accurate 4000 pulse/mile out to your speedo. You just need to know the tooth count.

I am just throwing this out there since i didnt see any information on it when i did a quick search

well it hooks into your cable speedo ouput on your tranny and creates a 8000 pulse signal and inputs to your pcm where you provide what tooth count your tranny is and gears tire size and all that jazz and it sends out the correct 4000 pulse signal to your speedo.

i dont know exactly how it works yet because i have not hooked it up yet but once i do ill be sure to let everyone know how it works

you can send your pcm to the Brendan from lt1swap.com and he can program your pcm if you provide him all your information

I have the same one sitting at home. All it is, is a pulse generator that runs off of your speedo cable. Gives an output signal your pcm can recognize.. and you adapt it from there.
