Trans shifting into 2nd after cam install???

Trans shifting into 2nd after cam install??? Ok, threads in both internal and PCM, but so far no luck.
Installed a TSP 231/237 595/598 @ 112 cam in my A4, used to have a TR224 with no problems. Since cam, every once in a while, seems to be intermittent, under a part throttle take off around 2200rpms, and lasting til 3500 the trasn will shift into 2nd gear right after takeoff. It will not downshift until 3500 when it does this, and the rpms climb very slowly. almost like its in reduced power mode.
I have checked all connections, both vacuum and electrical, all good.
I have heard it may be from a low manifold vacuum. I know the trans is still electriconically shifted via solenoid, but how/where do they get their signal from for opening/closing? I am thinking if it is manifold vacuum, then there must be a way to alter using edit, like the min & max Map or something? I am puzzled here, any help is greatly appreciated.
