Default Turbo 400 Long or Short Tail

Going to a Turbo 400, which one do I need in a '99 TA.
Short tail, long tail or what. Or any other info I might need.

A couple years back I used a TH400. I had J&W build me one with the long shaft since I had a high $ DS that I would rather cut instead of buy another one. Looking back. I should have just sold the DS and got another one because I hade to spend about 150.00 on the larger yoke. Maybe less $ now. I also had to make my own trans cross member and the DS loop was not in the right place to be legal.

Long story short... I would get the short one.

Get the shortest shaft possible. There are more chances for vibrations and flexing of the longer tailshaft under heavy load.

Thanks guys. I haven't done any research on the swap yet. Got a guy local here to build
it. Just need to look for a trans.
