how long does it usually take for say a ss4000 converter to be ready to ship out?

Any deals on a restall? Want to get a SS3600 restalled to a SS4000 or maybe a PT3800 if I could spray a 150 on it.

If I were to plan on going with a D1SC in a year or so would it be wise to get the PY 3600 now or should I really get the SS 3600 and upgrade later? What are the issues with running a PY 3600 on an N/A no spray car?
