Default Manually shift a4

when ever i manually shift my 99 ta i may shift it at right before the rev limiter but it hit the rev limiter for about 5 sec before shifting. Is this normal for a computer controlled shifter?

It takes the computer and transmission X time to shift.
Keep it in drive.

Powershifting is for hondas... Let the car do the shifting and you will be faster guaranteed...

Doesn't sound like a problem. Depens on the throttle %

yeah it's pretty much pointless to manually shift your A4 like that. But it is much more dangerous to your transmission to manually downshift it! To me, by holding it in gears like, you're just putting a bit more stress on the clutches.
