Manually shift a4
when ever i manually shift my 99 ta i may shift it at right before the rev limiter but it hit the rev limiter for about 5 sec before shifting. Is this normal for a computer controlled shifter?

ya i do now i did it the first day i got the car and it scared me a bit so i stoped that. just didnt know if it was messed up. Also i have another question at 45mph if i barely push on the gas it seems to not decide if it wants to shift out of o/d or not. is this a problem?

yeah it's pretty much pointless to manually shift your A4 like that. But it is much more dangerous to your transmission to manually downshift it! To me, by holding it in gears like, you're just putting a bit more stress on the clutches.
