like th350, th400, 200r and the like?

I was wondering the same thing..Are there different gear ratios for each tranny...like the 4L60, 4L60E,etc?

200-4R = 2.74, 1.57, 1.00, 0.67

TH-350= 2.52, 1.52, 1.00

TH-400 = 2.48, 1.48, 1.00

4L60/4L60E/4L65E/700R4 = 3.06, 1.62, 1.00, 0.69

4L80E = 2.48, 1.48, 1.00, 0.75 (nothing but a turbo 400 with OD)

the strongest tranny we could put in our cars would be the 4L80 series (assuming you want to keep OD) but it needs a lot of modifications to fit (as do all the trannys other than the 700/4L60 trannies) and you need considerable horsepower not to let the bigger, heavier tranny with worse gearing drag down the cars performance.

 

ok guys, annother question. does anyone know what size ring and sun gears they take?
