I'm a six speed guy looking for a 4L80.... Did a local search and found a guy who has one for sale. Here's the story...

It's a 95 model trans... W/ less than 15,000 on it. Apparently, it was owned by a company contracted by the goverment that ran training courses here in VA. It was in an armored car that was only used to pull vehicles out of the training courses. The guy who has it now bought the trans and motor from the company. Apparently it was coupled w/ a 454 he wanted for his truck.

I know there are model differences, any you would usually steer away from such an old trans... But I honestly dont know aything about this stuff.

Any help/guidance would be awesome!
