ok, so my 97 ws6 formula doesn't like cold weather. If it's been sitting and completely cold i have only 1 and 2 gears. Now i used to have a problem with it going into limp mode with only 3rd gear until it warmed up. I swapped out the 3-2 solenoid and the 2-3 just to cover and that fixed it for a couple days. When i dropped the pan, whoever replaced the 3-2 before at a dealership broke off the holding clips on the harness that connect to the solenoids. Could a loose connection be the problem? The car has lots of miles and i just don't want to keep up these $50 fixes if it could be something else. Once the car is good and warm if i turn it off and turn it back on it finds 3 and 4th gear. And shifts firmly into them. It has also gone from shifting into 3rd and 4th back to not shifting there at the same time, which is why i think it may be the harness. Any help???
