Default Truck pan questions

Will the silverado's deep pan filter work on a 700r4? reason being im trying to run the silverado deep pan on my 93 automatic trans (700r4) camaro z28, thanks in advance for the answers

The spout on the 4l60 deep filter is slightly larger in diameter & will interchange with the 700r4. If your going to use the deep pan anyway, you need to weld spacers in the pan to keep the filter from falling out.

thanks for the reply, so the 4l60e's deep filter will work in my 700r4 transmission? and i would need the spacers to "cushion" the filter to the case?

sorry i wasn't really clear, no the deep filter will not work on the 700r4, the pan will. If you use the pan though you need spacers in the pan to keep the 700r4 filter from falling out. The spout on the 4l60 is a little larger in diameter and will not fit a 700. you may be able to find aftermarket deep pan filter's for the 700 but don't quote me on it.
