Default 4000 converter question

Im looking to get a yank 4000 RPM speed torque converter and had a few questions..

will i need to get a tune on the car to up the rev limiter or anything?
and will i need to do anything to pushrods?

you may need a tune to keep it from throwing a code and a check engine light. Also, it helps to fine tune your shift points and lock-up speed.

A tune with that high of stall converter is probably a really good idea. You won't have to mess with the rev limiter... you're not going to be revving the motor any higher simply because of a higher stall converter. The tune will mostly be for adjusting shift points, and checking for false knock often found with higher stalls. Plus the car may throw a code that will need to be deleted... something transmission related, but I can't remember what it is. Someone else will probably chime in and help.

Shouldn't need to change the pushrods. Like I said, you're not going to be turning the motor any higher so no sense in making a change like that without needing to. Good luck. High stalls kick ***!
