there is allot of variables when filling up an automatic transmission

is the converter filled ?

was the oil cooler flushed ?

did the valve body still have fluid in it ?

that is why you can not get a straight answer from anybody, best thing to do is fill up the tranny till you can see fluid on the dipstick, start, go threw all the gears and make sure you let it stay in every gear for about 3 seconds, then throw it back in park and check the level, and continue the same method if it needs more

when i changed the transmission filter and all the oil that was in the pan, it took about 6.5 liters
