I think I am getting ready to loose the tranny but I am not sure. First time to the track this year and problems right away. When I go to do a burnout it shifts out of first but then boggs down real hard like it went to third instead of 2nd.
Then when I went and launched, it shifted out of first at like 5000 rpm then bogg down real hard again and rpms just sat at 4000. Am I loosing 2nd gear or is it possibly something else.

Car has a pt4400/ms3 and stock tranny. Not made one pass with the cam in it.

 

Any clues?

 

It drives fine around town, somethings tho it feels like it skips a gear because it takes a lot more rpm to get it up to speed and I dont hear it shift.

 

I did just change a fuel pump. I had this converter in before the cam and it was fine. Also the engine light just came on. The cam has been tuned to not throw codes and to idle thats it tho.
