This is my opinion based on my experiences.

BTW I ran 12.6 in a '01 Z28 with full exhaust and lid, then ran 12 flat with the converter (not an FTI). Trans tuning only, and no TM.

so call fti and ask for greg?

Circle D WILL understand what you need based on the information provided. If you plan to do additional mods down the road be sure to let Chris know that as well.

Based on your current mods and keeping nice drivability for a street car, I would go with the Circle D Specialties 3C or if you plan on more mods down the road a 4C (3600ish at your power level) would be an excellent choice. You will need a sticky tire for track use if you go with the 4C, but you should be able to get her off the line with 3C if the track is in decent shape.

Your car will be an entirely different animal with a 3C or 4C and knock off well over a half second from your current ETs.
