can anybody tell me what the name of the tube thing is that goes in the trans filter, im trying to order one and cant find it

That is a filter grommet & only comes with a new filter.Good luck finding one seperatly.

thats odd i bought a new filter and it came with the oring but not the tube

you just call it a filter pick up tube-goes from the filter to the trans-up in the trans they used to use an o ring, now they use that bastared to get in seal
also they have 2 diff lengths, depending on the depth of the pan

I am sorry i thought you were talking a bout the grommet.That tube is the pick up tube the end that goes in the trans takes an o ring which you should double up on the o ring when you install in trans.There is a deep & shallow tube.Any trans shop should have a couple laying around.
