Default Broke TailShaft Housing

so wednesday night, i made my way to the drag strip. finally go some runs in with the new set up and went from 13.5 at 106 last yr to 12.8 at 110. no probs with the car at all that night. now for today, pull the car out of the shop, pulled the quads out to make more room to try and fig out what keeps draining my battery (that started after i installed the power kill relay). pulled the car in and seen something leaking, just fig it was a seal that i knew was going bad. jacked the car up and seen it wasnt a seal. the damn tail shaft housing crack just over half was around by where the housing bolt to the tranny and in front of the trans mount. now heres my question, where the hell can i get a new one by next wkend? Kansas City International Raceway is having there High School Drags and im hoping to run. thanks for any info

When I broke mine, I just called around to local trans shops and if a trans shop doesn't have one for sale go to a junk yard and pick one up. You will probaly break it again unless you move the tq arm off the tail shaft.

yep. 4L60E with a shift kit only and stock steel driveshaft. Richmond 4.10s and running M/T Street ETs. cant remember how tall. i think 275/65/15. i say im maybe in the 350-400 hp range but dont quote me. never had the car dyno. also LCA relocte brackets from UM Perfromance on the very bottom setting.

the messed up part is i made 7 or 8 runs no prob running 12.8 @110 everytime with a 2 sec 60 ft. got home, the car sat for 3 days and no puddle. pulled it out, backed it in and all down hill from there. if i can get away with a new or used one for this coming wkend, ill just let the car sit til i get a relocate bracket
