so i got this tranny with my motor the guy i bought it from said it got a 2500 stall it stalls but when i shift from 1 to 2 u dnt feel anything but if u shift from 2 to drive it does is it cause the stall is makin it skip first? or can it b this stupit 2 gear start button i have in my 96 camaro i did the v8 swap so i dk if it effects tranny thankx

 

I am assumig you have no 1st or 4th, only manaual 2-3 if this is correct you have and electrical issue with the car, Scan for codes and check fuses.

Sounds like the trans is going 1st to 3rd with no 2nd or 4th. Which if that is the case you have a busted or stripped sunshell.

as posted above it sounds like an electrical issue. scan for codes and dont drive it till it is fixed ( belive me i know ) or you will burn it up

 

probley is all i do is drive it to move aroudn shop i dnt drive it everday as my car untill its fixed gittin it lookd at tomar hopefully

 

So what you are saying is the trans is taking off in 2nd shifts to 3rd and has no 4th.

 

starts in 2nd shifts to 3rd an no overdrive dwn shifts from 3rd to 2nd an nothing dwn to 1st acts like its still in 2nd
