I'm running one, i built it myself. I have about $3500-$4000 in the swap.

So far i love it, no more computer controlled shifts. It shifts as soon as i hit the shifter without delay. I went the 200r4 for several reasons, one i got to have overdrive or i just wont enjoy driving it on the street anymore. Two its got a better gear spead. Three I like the idea of having less gear in first with this transmission, it'll be alittle easier to get off the line on the bottle. Four, I havnt really seen any 700r4/4l60e live in the 9s. GNs are doing it at alot more weight then we carry.

What kind of shifter are you using? I was hoping to change to a ratchet shifter when i get mine. But i'm worried about trying to put it in the console.

More questions for ya... What did you do for the speedometer? Where did you get a bellhousing adapter? How is your torque arm mounted?

For the speedo i had to mill the output shaft down .005 so the stock reluctor wheel could press on there. I then had to assemble the transmission back together. I drilled a hole into the side of the case in the tailshaft of the trans. Placing the stock speed sensor within .010-.020 of the reluctor wheel and using 2 part epoxy to hold it in placel. In other words it was a MAJOR PIA.

No bellhousing adapter here just bolted it right up to the block

TQ arm is a spohn chassis mounted arm.

I already have the Spohn torque arm so that is no worry. How much did you have to change your Drive Shaft length either way and did you go with a custom built one from anywhere?

I can see where this swap is gonna cost me about $4000 all together. TA2SLOW how long ave you been running that tranny and ave you had to freshen it up at all and how much power are you putting through it?

Sorry for all the questions but you are the oly one that replied as to having one for now.

I had to get a driveshaft 3 inches longer. It was built by a local shop that does shafts for 7 second cars.

The tranny only has about 1,000 hard miles on it. About 100 passes on so far. Mods are sig, and the car traps 120mph in the 1/4 so far N/A.
There is such a big difference between the the this trans acts and the stock 4l60e slush box. Under WOT as soon as i push the shifter it shifts, not 200-300 rpms later, but right then.

Oh well I am very excited and can't wait to get it in and make some passes. We shall see very soon. When I do get it if I need anything I'll give you a shout and maybe you can enlighten me.
