Default TransGo Shift Kit or Increase Line Pressure?

Just the like the title says.

Getting ready to put a stall in (Yank SBS 3800), and wondering which option you all think I should go.

Trans was just refreshed, used a TCI Pro Race Overhaul kit, nothing fancy. Going behind a I/E LS1.

I appreciate any info some of you more experienced auto trans guys can provide.

Thanks.

Forgot to mention we did upgrade to the Beast Sunshell. If I recall correctly my buddy told me the kit did include upgrade the 3-4 pak.

When my buddy puts the trans on the dyno, we can do the line pressure testing then, correct?

I've gotten solid performance and survival just by line
pressure profile. Shifts are plenty fast / hard enough
without getting into the guts.

I am still on the stock transmission but tuned it with hptuners. Night and day difference, chirps drs 1-2, etc.

My 98 Formula only had some tweaking done to the line pressure through tuners, and it ran fine.

Just trying to get some more angles/info on this since the trans is new, want to do it right, and make it last.

Car ran 13.1 on stock trans/converter, hoping for somewhere in the 12's now lol.

Shouldn't have a problem running 12s. I am running 12.80s with just headers filter tune with a **** 2.0 60ft. Stock transmission and stock stall.
