Unhappy Need HELP Were is the PRNDL Switch Located

HI GUYS I TOOK MY CAR TO GET PROGRAMMED AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PCM DID NOT NOTICE IF YOU CHANGE IT FROM PARK TO DRIVE I WAS TOLD TO CHECK PRNDL SWITCH I HAVE A 4L60E BUT I DONT KNOW WERE THE SWITCH IS LOCATED HELP Thanks

I'm not sure since I have an M6, so wait for a better answer, but I have a guess.

It's on the trans near the shift cable.

the wires for the computer are on the right side of the transmission. you can start looking there. i doubt that would have anything to do with it though because you would be having more issues with the transmission

are you talking about the round green plug? i only see that one and a small two wire sensor and the tail of the trans!!

Looking at a wiring diagram it shows that the park/neutral position switch is located near the shift control lever, it has 2 wires, an orange/black and black/white.
The black/white is the ground terminating at the front of the engine above the ac clutch connector.

Do you have any codes? I have an M6 also so that is the best I can do. I would think something like that would throw out DTC.
