4l60E 1-2 shift all over the place. First, my car is a 95 LT1 trans am. The most relevant mods are:
3.73's
2K stall
Port matched factory heads
Mild cam
K&N Intake system (Possibly affecting MAF?)
The transmission seems to enjoy slipping at part throttle, but bites hard at WOT. This has been the case since I bought the car and I blame a lack of tuning.
BUT the real issue has recently developed randomly. The car takes off from a stop normally but fights to shift out of 1st gear, no matter how much throttle applied. It eventually does shift but extremely slowly (feels like it lowers RPM and then I can feel it kick into 2nd) Now another huge issue, when I wind out 1st gear it will run all the way to the rev limiter and start bouncing off of it. I let out, it shifts, I ease back into it and it tries to go back into first and immediately hits the limiter again, It seems to be trying to downshift into first up to 60MPH. Not good, almost got rear ended by a hyundai SUV trying to get out ahead of traffic.
No lights on the dash (I dont know if it has a trans light)
Tune? bad solenoid? Output speed signal? MAF? TPMS?

er this has been about as useful as **** on donkey...
Im starting to think that second gear is gone. regardless I posted another thread to get opinions on transmission companies. I'm going to go new/built/ warrantied.
