Default converter help?

what would cause the converter to lock and unlock randomly? but it mostly stays unlock. i just had the trans built a few months ago and they drain the fluid and said the converter look good. iv replace the throttle position sensor and it has no codes. it was doing this when i first got it and read that sometimes u have to have the computer tuned and i had that done and its still doing but for some reason i dont think he was very good; just trying to knock out all the posibilities

Swapped from stock converter to Yank SS4000. Didn't need a tune. Shifts and runs on lockup perfectly. May need to check for other problems.
