Tranny cooler??

Default Tranny cooler??

I am doing a LS1 swap in to my 3rd Gen Rx7, and i just wanted to check and see if i was going to need a tranny cooler? i had heard that they didnt need them unless you planned on towing, and i dont plan on doing any of that so....

if you upgrade the converter you will need an aftermarket one. If you are using the stock on w/o the stock automatic radiator you will need one as well. The stock auto radiator has one in it but will not be enough for an aftermarket converter

Ahhh! Well i was under the asumption that the autos did not need a tranny cooler, unless you were towing.... Looks like Brian Hinson was wrong! He said that stock automatic vettes, camaros and T/A's did not have tranny coolers.
Glad i asked on here......

as he told u up there ,,u need a tranny color the biggest u can fit in there

I use a 28000 GVW cooler with my 4200 stall converter.
