Default swap?

hey guys can I would like to use the 4l60e behind my carb 355. I know that gmpp and tci both make controllers for this but I was hoping to be able to use the stock computer and lt1 harness. Is it possible to have the harness and computer modified and of everything except the trans plug and controls. This isnt a money pit project just something I'm trying to get running with what I have on hand already in hopes of selling it to one of these eager to drive teenagers. Let me know if it can be done, thanks in advance.

no because the PCM needs to see throtttle position, map, MAF and speed signals to set shift strategy why dont you just use a 700r4 same tranny just hydraulically controlled

You are so wrong! I found the answer I was looking for, yes it can be done, and there are quite a few companies making the required carbed tps sensors and linkages. One such company is Acculink and the other is TCI just to namea couple. And heres the link to....

I was under the impression you were talking about having a stock pcm and just having the wiring hooked up for the transmission as in just having thr PCM for the trans shifting. sorry I tried to answer your question and was wrong sorry I tried to help have a nice day!
