Performabuilt Stall

I have one because they give you a two year tranny warranty when you buy both. I've only had mine in my car for about 400 miles, I can't say anything bad about it. I've had a Yank and a Vig. before in a LT1 car I had....I don't notice any difference.

the reason I am asking the question is because I am going to go with there transmission and was wandering if buying there converter is worth the extra year of warranty. Everyone says Yank it seems but you will only get 1 year of warranty if you don't buy there converter.

I really wanted a two year warranty on a trans, so that made my decision to go with their converter too.

Looks like if I go through with a trade on a car I will have to save up and get both. I like that he gives you a converter with the stuff as well. 2 Year warranty is awesome so thats what I like the most about it.

my stall was a 1.69 STR you could barley tell you had a stall even though it was built for 3.42 grs i had 2.73s it was still tight in town stop and go most people that rode with me couldnt tell untill i floored it and then you could tell. car ran best of 13.7 before stall and ran 12.9 after stall and tuning.

I have only driven it a few hundred miles, but I have no issues with it all. It's a 3600 stall, however, I don't know what the STR is.....I e-mailed Frank to find out. I wanted a stall that I could use on the street and race on the weekends and that is what I have.

I'm running a Performabuilt level 2 '60e and their 4k stall, with a 1.69 str. I haven't taken it to the track yet, but it drives great on the street. With 3.73s, it was easy to drive, but once you really get on it, you better be rolling already or your just going to spin.
Mods were Lid, Ported TB, 234/230 cam, L/Ts, ORY, catback, 3.73s. I just changed to a TSP 224R but haven't driven it yet.
