I have one because they give you a two year tranny warranty when you buy both. I've only had mine in my car for about 400 miles, I can't say anything bad about it. I've had a Yank and a Vig. before in a LT1 car I had....I don't notice any difference.

the reason I am asking the question is because I am going to go with there transmission and was wandering if buying there converter is worth the extra year of warranty. Everyone says Yank it seems but you will only get 1 year of warranty if you don't buy there converter.

I really wanted a two year warranty on a trans, so that made my decision to go with their converter too.

i believe (i could be wrong) tight is more so for the street and you actually get decent gas mileage with and loose is better for the track

I am running his level to tranny and 3800 stall. The stall feels great on the street and even better at the track. I am very happy with the stall. Ive cut 1.58 60ft with my bolton lt1 with it. I also trapped 108

Looks like if I go through with a trade on a car I will have to save up and get both. I like that he gives you a converter with the stuff as well. 2 Year warranty is awesome so thats what I like the most about it.

That is what u want out a stall.Tight on the street but when u want it to stall it is there for u.My Yank SS3600 is like that it feels like stock until u hit it then it stalls high and the cars gets better gas mileage w/ the stall than the stock converter and it had cut 1.63 60ft on Nitto's.

I have only driven it a few hundred miles, but I have no issues with it all. It's a 3600 stall, however, I don't know what the STR is.....I e-mailed Frank to find out. I wanted a stall that I could use on the street and race on the weekends and that is what I have.

I'm running a Performabuilt level 2 '60e and their 4k stall, with a 1.69 str. I haven't taken it to the track yet, but it drives great on the street. With 3.73s, it was easy to drive, but once you really get on it, you better be rolling already or your just going to spin.

Mods were Lid, Ported TB, 234/230 cam, L/Ts, ORY, catback, 3.73s. I just changed to a TSP 224R but haven't driven it yet.

After more research I think a 3600 stall may be a little big. Might go with the 3200.

that is exactly what i'm looking for in a stall with my 2.73 gears. How big was the stall? I think I may put a level 2 tranny with stall on lay away there.
