Default trans trouble

Is my trans already starting to go? I havent even put any serious power to it yet.

The mighty 4.8 is only putting about 300HP to the ground.

The truck has only 33,000 miles on its. The trans has felt its fair share of nitrous, hard 3-1 downshifts, and sideways slides.

But is the transmission really that weak? Ive only felt it slip once or twice, but I know its a sign if things to come. Sooo,

Fix it under warranty with another stock trans that will die?
Go with a built trans and high stall? Or
Keep going until it dies a nitrous filled death, then fix it?
