Default transmission leak

Hello everyone!

I was hoping to get other suggestions as to what would be causing my transmission leak. It is a 4L60E on a 95 formula. It appears to be leaking from the inner seal between the pump and converter but this is a new seal and am pretty sure the converter is in all the way.

It starts leaking right away when the car is started.

Any other suggestions on what this could be?

Thanks in advance guys!

It could be the seal, a cracked converter, pump o-ring, bolt o-ring.
Why did you just put a new seal in it? Did you swap the converter out?

You could eliminate all the possibilities buy replacing all the o-rings, seal, gasket, and pump bushing. Thats approx $40.

I had replaced the sunshell.....it has a new inner seal, and new pump o ring. I am not sure of the gasket for the bolts you refer to....is this the flat template behind the pump? if so that is new as well

Which bushing are you talking about?

The bushing right behind the seal.
And each pump bolt has an o-ring on it.

The purpose is to seal each bolt. It could be a source of a leak.
