If its going to be a track car id say do the 4K. talk to stealthformula. he has a yank PT 4000 and says with 3.73 gears its a little loose on the street but it keeps the rpms up at the track

at this point its a dd all 8.6 mpg of it lol I only drive it 16-20 miles a day going to work and seems to start building power from 4-4500 up to my current shift point of like 6300 still feels like it wants more Ima move um higher to atleast 6500. when I'm crusing and floor it when it sticks in 2nd it flashes right into the begining of a flat spot in power thats from about 3"-4500 so I figure 4K eliminates that flat spot problem solved...

I just don't want to put a 3600 in and have it still not be enough. Someone needs to design a quick change TC

5200 stall here... doesn't drive bad at all on the street IMO, it's not stock obviously but it's not unstreetable. Normal acceleration it hovers about 3500 and drops about 400 rpm when I shift it. Sounds kinda cool I think

Just a reminder for those who have a 94/95 ODBI PCM, if you go bigger then 2,800 stall you need a Stall Wall fix in your tune. Otherwise your going to be very disappointed and frightend when it shifts to 3rd and does not allow for you to get out of it until you shut the car off.

VERY annoying issue that thankfully got resolved when PCMforless figured it out years ago when I was still running my 383 LT1.
