Default 4L80E questions

Hey guys I have a few questions, my buddy and i were talking tonight and I said something about having to get a built 4l60 but he said to get a 80. So will a 80 bolt up? Will my yank bolt up out of the 60? how much power will it hold ? All my mods r in my sig.

yes it will bolt up....stall wont work...trans will probably hold without issues and youll need a tune a some wiring swapped and a new dipstick tube...do a search its been done

If coming from a 60E, you will need an 80E crossmember, yoke/conversion u joint, tune and wiring modifications, a shifter if you don't want the stock one (stock one can work), dipstick, and either get it built or at the very least put a shift kit in it. Also will need a converter as already stated also.

more than your 100 shot can dish out if the trans was maintained before putting it in your car
