4L60E, 4L80E questions.

Hello.

A friend and I are wanting to put a 2.2l in his 06 2500.
He has a 4L80e, and the 2.2l would come from a S10, which has a 4L60E.

We would be wanting to just bolt the 2.2l to the 4l80E.

What would be needed?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you wanting to put a 2.2l engine out of an S10 in an 06 2500, full size pickup?

Does the 2.2L turn in the right direction? Sometimes the transverse engines turn opposite of the RWD (lateral?) engines.

Complete lack of dignity, an adapter for the engine to trans and converter.
The 2.2 turns the right direction no matter what it came out of.
