Default 4l60e ?

Im looking at getting another Camaro this is 98z28 w/ 6.0 swap.

Tranny is 4l60e with 4400 acc stall. Owner says it drives and shifts fine under easy, medium, heavy throttle. But sometimes at wot it wont shift.

Ideas as to what it could be before i go buy this car..
- Bands
- stall?

How many miles on the unit? Is the attempted 2-3 shift situation at WOT new? Is it a mild shift flare? Or no shift at all? How does the fluid look? Any clutch material in it?

Ive decided against buying the car due to the trans issue i need a dd! Dont want to deal with the trans issue, could possibly be just a tuning issue but more than likely i dont think so. I havent been to look at the car just seeing if anybody had similar problems that could diagnose it quickly. I think the tranny has around 60k so My guess would be the bands. 6.0 swapped cam bolt on car makes like 420/430 no nitrous on the car ever.

probably a good move. I would imagine that the poor (stock?) 60e in that car probably has more than it can handle with that engine and that converter and the 3-4 clutches are probably on the way out, hence not wanting to make the shift. 3-4 clutches are a MAJOR weak point on the stock units (along with quite a lot else), but they can be built to fix this issue.
