Just got back home from taking the car out for a little cruise. Car was acting normal when i first took it out, then turning onto the highway i decided to give a 75% throttle pull up to 65ish miles and hour. After pulling out of the throttle at 65ish the car would not shift from 3-4. I tried dropping it from overdrive into drive then back into overdrive but it still would not go into 4th.The highway ended and I was stopped at a light then as i pull away from the light my car revs really high in 1st but is not pulling properly and shifts into second at over 4k rpm. 2nd and 3rd gear feel fine. Then i hit another light just near my house and this time the car would not shift from 1st into 2nd,it would just rev really high in 1st and was barely pulling the car along.Feels almost like its slipping.
Can someone please help me out???
Basically went onto highway did 75% throttle pull to 65 miles an hour and now the car won't shift from 1-2 or 3-4. It is revving in first real high and is barely pulling the car along, like 4500rpms in first and I am just crawling along at 5-10mph, it will not shift out of first and I don't wanna rev it up too high past 4500 and see if it will shift just incase it breaks something.
