Default 5.3L and a TH400

Hello everyone, new to the site. I have been reading for hours on how to install a TH400 behind a 5.3L and I am so confused. Can someone just tell me what I need in order to do the install? Do I need an adaptor or a flexplate or both? Thanks so much for the help.

Its understandable since you are new to the forum, but use the search button.

I find it easy to click advanced and search titles only, as I did "th400 5.3"
