I have a 01 Trans am LS1 with a stock 4l60e. It has the stock pan. I am putting a stall in it and figured it would be a good time to change out the filter..Does anyone have a part number or know the size as apparently my parts store said there were 2 optioins..one with a 2 1/4 and one with 2 7/8 or something maybe..If someone can give me a brand and part number i can get them to cross reference it..

Since it has the stock pan it takes the short filter.

and im guessing the truck 4l60e have the deeper stock pan and the deeper filter???

Yea the truck pans are a little deeper. You could go to autozone's or orielly's website and find the part number yourself to be sure.
