700R4 speedo issues I recently picked up a 700R4 for my 93 T/A and the problem i ran into is that it cam installed with a 40 tooth reluctor wheel and sensor. I'm curious if anyone knows if there is a converter that will convert one signal to another.
What signal?
All A4 f bodies with electronic speed sensors use 40 tooth reluctor wheels.
The only thing you should need to do is splice the proper plug end on your wiring harness.
The only problem you might have is if you switched from a manual trans with a 17 tooth reluctor wheel.
