Default M6 console with aftermarket shifter question

Going to switch to an auto. I was wondering if any of you guys have stuck or went to a m6 console. I know I won't have the indicator but want a clean install. I searched for pics of aftermarket shifter installs and only found 1 picture. Alsoi when going from a manual to an auto you have to get the auto harness correct? If you could link me to exactly what I need I would apperciate it. Thanks in advance.

Thank you Sir, I got one 6 speed car already. Want to turn the ss into a track car. If you got part numbers that will be even better.

part numbers???? couldnt tell you that... but i cant tell you that if you find someone on here that will trade you, AND do the work.. i am positive someone will do it.. i would... if i didnt live in DFW.. thats why i got an auto this time... seriously. post up a trade.. your tranny alone is worth 1200 not to mention all wiring electronics and assemblies with clutch basket and shifter.. thats an easy 2k conversion... offer up a trade.. i promise you will find someone who will go for it...

ok, so i thought you were wanting to go from an T56 tranny to a 4l60 and wanted info on the swap... are you just wanting to put a ratchet shifter on your existing 4l60?

You are correct, I am currently a m6 car. When I do go to an auto I want to install a racket shifter with reverse lockout. A guy here has done a b&m hammer shifter with the manual console and it looks factory, minus the gear indicator of course. It's what I was looking for, thanks for the help, I apperciate it.

I've got a B&M Stealth Pro Ratchet under my stock M6 console, shifting a 4L80.

you can use an auto console with indicator and make it look factory, you may have to make your own indicator label but it can be done... its on here somewhere...
