harsh lock up after 3600 stall and rebuild
I built my first 4l60e two weeks ago and im having lock up issues. My car locks up at 45 like normal but it is really firm. When you hit the brakes and apply the throttle again and it goes into lock up its at its harshes. Is this normal for a 3600 lock up stall? I didnt modify lock up what so ever. I replaced the clutches 3/4 clutch pack with a alto high energy 9 clutch set up and a raybestos high energy band. I also used a corvette servo and a sonnax hp shift kit. Is this normal or is it my rebuild or converter?

It's normal, you need to tune the tcc apply to engage at a higher mph so theres not so much rpm drop.
The FTI converters don't use damper springs in the clutch, that also makes lock up more firm.
