Default Stall experts please help

Ever since I put my stall in I have had a slight leak of trans fluid .... It is coming from the overflow tube . I thought that I may have put in too much at first but it has been a few months and it is still happening. The leak is very slow and almost unnoticeable the real problem is that every time I floor it trans fluid leaks out of the overflow tube onto my exhaust causing smoke. The fluid appears to be at the right level on the dip stick yet. Is there any reason that would cause fluid to come out of that tube at wot ? Any help would be appreciated thanks

Is it coming out of the top of the tube or where the tube goes into the pan down at the transmission?

End of the tube. Not by the transmission I am almost sure about that .

The only time I have seen it come out of the end of the tube is when the trans is too full and it pukes fluid out of the tube. All you did was swap the converter?

Yeah I broke my flex plate so while I had the trans out I put in a new converter, swapped fluid and filter. I thought I may have been a little high on fluid but it has been a few months so I can't see it being that much too full ....

Its possible its still too full if you had it way full before. How are you checking the fluid level?

I meant are you doing it with the engine running and the trans temp up to operating temp and the gear selector in N?

Yes I am doing it at operating temps flat ground and in park not N which I am guessing would give me the same result though

Check it at operating temp and in N. The level should drop in neutral. Is the vent in the top of the trans clogged or smashed shut?
