Anyone using an optishift?
I am putting a carbed ls and 4l80 in a 68 Camaro. I had originally planned on going with a manual valve body but the optishift is a decent price. Has anyone here used it? And how exactly does it control shifts with a carbed engine?
The OptiShift is the new generation of the Baumman Controller.
It's a very nice unit and in my opinion the best one on the market.
I'm a dealer for it if you're interested.
You use a TPS on the carb to work with the controller. Very simple hookup, the TPS is the hardest part.
3 TPS wires, 1 power, 2 grounds, and hook up the connectors to the transmission.
