I had the Vig 3600 and went down to a Vig 3200 in my cam only Z28. There was only a small difference and it may even have been mental. lol IIRC the Vig's aren't exactly a 3600 converter... obviously it depends on how much power your car has, gears, etc. Specs on current car?? N/A setup?

That's a hard question to answer because it's more about the converter builder matching the motors torque to come up with the correct stall. I've had both a vigilante and a Yank and it was more about me giving them the correct information and communicating what my expectations where.

I hear that yanks are always tighter than the competitors. They say yanks are closer to the advertised stall speed than others

Ive ran Vigilante , Custom Built , Fuddle , Yank , and driven Fcars with TCI , B&M ,
and Edge . I Personally think Yank is one of the tighter converters out there .
Vigilante and Edge are a close second . I wont even waste my breath on how much
the rest of them are junk .

general consensus seems to be yanks are tighter than vig, vig are often higher stall than rated

it's apples to oranges but I do know my buddies vig4000 is worlds looser than my yank3600....runs great though but I couldn't stand to daily drive it
